Calliope's Story

Calliope is an internationally acclaimed photographer of Greek origin.

She started her career at an early age as a fashion editor  at Condé Nast Italy, in Milan by being discovered by legendary Italian vogue editor in chief Franca Sozzani who believed in her and gave her the opportunity and the freedom to create.

In her mid twenties  she moved to New York, where she lived for twenty-five years, a city she never stopped loving.

There, she began her career as a photographer by working for international Conde Nast publications and major advertising campaigns.

Her love and longing for her native country inspired her two photography books, Traditional Greek Costumes, and Children of the Light.

Her travels have inspired her to express herself in creative ways, not only through her lens but, by making caftans, dresses, tops, bags, jewelry etc in her own unique style and share them with you.

Ethnic looks are the main sources of her inspiration.
